Welcome to Mrs. Royko's Online Art Classroom

Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Mrs. Royko and I am the Art Teacher at Eastlake Middle School. I firmly believe that Art is an important part of a student's education. It allows them to express some of their biggest ideas and deepest feelings while developing their creativity, critical thinking skills and pride.

Want to learn more about how the Arts can have a positive impact on all areas of your education? Visit the National Art Education Foundation by clicking here.

What will we do in Art?

Students will be introduced to multiple art materials, techniques and cultures during their time in the art room.
All lessons are designed to help develop skills in:

Creativity, Problem Solving, Craftsmanship, Time Management, Respect, Pride, Articulation and more!

Donating Items to the Art Room

One man's trash is an artist's treasure! If you have any materials or items that we may be able to use in the art room that you would like to donate, please contact me.

Items that would be greatly appreciated and used include:
General Art Supplies: paint, pencils, glue, etc.
Wood: small scrap pieces of wood, thimbles, rods, balsa, cork, etc.
